SAP BASIS administrator
We are seeking a strong SAP BASIS administrator for a permanent position in our Markham, Ontario to support our growth. This opening is for a leadership role in our SAP Practice and requires someone with proven leadership capabilities and very strong technical knowledge. The role will involve project work at our clients, management of our Basis support offerings as well as guidance and tutelage to our other Basis consultants. It will provide exposure to work across all SAP platforms and products in both our large enterprise group and our mid-market (SAP Business All-in-One) accounts.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Preferably 8 plus years of experience as an SAP Basis Administrator with at least half of that experience as an employee or contractor of an SAP Consulting company. (Please do not apply if you have less than 5 years of SAP experience)
- Experience with full life-cycle implementation, Support and Upgrade with ABAP/Java stack.
- Experience with ECC 6.0, Netweaver 7.0, BW/BI, XI/PI, EP.
- Experience building infrastructure to support SAP environment from the ground up (including hardware sizing)
- Experience applying Service Marketplace Notes, Support Packs, SAP Enhancement Packs, Kernel upgrades, etc.
- Client Administration, CCMS, and Spool Administration
- Experience with SAP’s Security & Authorizations for ECC and preferably also for CRM, BI, and SAP Portal.
- Strong knowledge of database management for MS SQL Server and ideally also Oracle.
- Experience with doing Backups, Restores, System Refreshes, Development of Disaster Recovery plans.
- Strong documentation, analysis & problem solving skills.
- Strong communication skills.
DESIRABLE:
- Experience running SAP on VMWare (or other virtualization platform) would be an asset
- Experience with Solution Manager (Solman)
- Experience with SAP Archiving

SAP ABAP Developer
Full-time SAP ABAP Developer required. Development of custom enhancements, interfaces, reports and transactions in accordance with technical and functional specifications. In addition, you will create technical documentation as well as execute and document tests. You will also be counted on to participate in detailed design, realization, documentation, testing, and support. The successful candidate should also have a good understanding of SAP functional processes.
- Provide professional consulting services to our clients and internal staff;
- Consult on all SAP related technical matters including custom programming, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms;
- Represent Illumiti’s SAP Business All-in-One helpdesk as part of our support team for customer issues.
- Maintain and assist with the organizing and preparation of our internal SAP technical demonstration systems to support the Illumiti sales team.
- Actively work on staying current with the latest technology advancements from SAP in the areas of your core competence.
- Actively promote and assist to promote Illumiti in the marketplace,
- Always keep in mind and help to promote Illumiti’s objectives of offering superior customer service to its clients and our goal of ‘Total Customer Satisfaction’ in order to establish long term client relationships.
Responsibilities Include:
- Playing a key role in the overall design and testing.
- Becoming familiar with Client’s data sources and interface requirements
- Interfacing with the client on a regular basis
- Client relationship management at all levels within client organization
- Identifying opportunities for business process improvements and documents business process improvements and applying technical alternatives
- Providing recommendations for solutions inclusive of reports, interfaces, conversion, enhancements and forms
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of systems implementation
- SAP ABAP certified
- Have at least 2 full lifecycle SAP implementation
- Solid understanding of SAP enhancement concept and the IDOC interface.
- Demonstrated ability to write Business Process Procedures, Configuration Process Procedures, Functional Specifications and Test Protocols
- Experience with SAP 4.6 or higher
- Excellent communications skills – ability to manage end users are various levels with client organization
- Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status
- Smartforms and SAPscript
- Data conversion
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP conversion tools such as ISMW or LSMW
- Exposure in the areas of FI, BW, CRM, IC-Webclient.
- Internet Sales Tools (Java, JSP)
- CRM experience
- BI 7.0

Currently, we are looking to hire, on a permanent basis, experienced SAP Consultants for our Markham, Ontario office to support and build our SAP ERP All-In-One solutions as well as being an implementation consultant on implementations of all sizes within our consulting practice. We require candidates in each of the following fields; FI-CO; MM, SD and diverse ABAP /Technical expertise.
Must have:
- Over 7 years of SAP consulting experience
- Current SAP Certification in their module(s) of expertise
- Hands-on experience in at least 3 complete implementation cycles
- Outstanding presentation skills
- Experience and comfort with developing and presenting SAP functionality for pre-sales demonstrations is highly desirable for this role
